Curiosità
I titolo originario del libro era "The Nature of the Beast", ma la pubblicazione nel 2001 dell'omonimo volume di Frances Fyfield obbligò Pratchett a cambiare in "Night Watch".
La copertina di Paul Kidby è una citazione del dipinto di Rembrandt "The Night Watch".
